News - Xbox Series X/S + Xbox One : Über 70 neue abwärtskompatible Spiele

Im Vorfeld des 20th Anniversary Showcase zum Xbox-Jubiläum verdichten sich bereits die Anzeichen für Neuigkeiten an der Front der abwärtskompatiblen Spiele. Jetzt hat Microsoft mehr als 70 Titel bestätigt, die neuerdings auch optimiert auf Xbox One und Xbox Series X/S laufen.

Nachdem für etliche Xbox-360-Klassiker schon im Tagesverlauf Updates ausgerollt wurden, ohne dass man sich zu den konkreten Inhalten äußerte, verdichteten sich die Anzeichen, dass Microsoft womöglich eine Ankündigung rund um das Thema Abwärtskompatiblität tätigen könnte - und genau so ist es anlässlich des 20-jährigen Xbox-Jubiläums nun tatsächlich auch gekommen.

Ab sofort gibt es über 70 weitere Xbox-360- und Xbox-Spiele, die sich in der stetig wachsenden Bibliothek der abwärtskompatiblen Spiele auf Xbox One und Xbox Series X/S finden. Auf der neuen Konsole profitieren diese dann auch von der Unterstützung von Atuo HDR, viele erhalten zudem eine verbesserte Auflösung spendiert.

Elf neu hinzugefügte Titel machen zudem von FPS Boost Gebrauch, 26 weitere Spiele aus der bestehenden Bibliothek wurden hierfür ebenfalls aktiviert. Unter anderem unterstützen nun auch Fallout 76 oder Fallout 4 dieses Feature.

Und welche namhaften Titel sind nun neu dabei? Die gesamte Max-Payne-Reihe ist ebenso an Bord, wie das F.E.A.R.-Franchise oder Skate 2. Zu den Xbox-Originalen zählen zeitlose Klassiker wie Star Wars: Jedi Knight II oder Star Wars: Starfighter.
