Solidarische Schweizer Videospiel-Akrobaten: Die Eidgenossen lassen ihre Landsleute an den Olympischen Spielen 2008 in Peking nicht alleine schwitzen, sondern helfen beim Medaillenspiegel zumindest am PC und der Konsole kräftig mit. Zumindest erklärt dies den derzeitigen Verkaufserfolg von Sportspielen wie 'Beijing 2008', 'Mario & Sonic an den Olympischen Spielen' und 'Summer Athletics'.

Die wöchentliche Chartliste der Swiss Interactive Entertainment Association (SIEA) deckt 59 Prozent (Software) und 53 Prozent (Hardware) des Schweizer Marktes ab und erfasst die verkauften Videospiele von Media Markt, Interdiscount, Fnac, City Disc und Manor.
