Auch die SXSW Gaming Awards 2016 wurden nun im Rahmen des SXSW Festivals verliehen. Zum Spiel des Jahres wurde ein alter Bekannter ausgezeichnet.
Nach dem einwöchigen Festival steht fest, dass The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt mal wieder das Game of the Year im Rahmen einer Award-Verleihung geworden ist. Das Rollenspiel-Epos konnte zudem auch in anderen Kategorien punkten.
